At ConNEXTion, we respect your right to control your personal information. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from Within the App (Recommended)
Step 1: Open the ConNEXTion app on your device
Step 2: Navigate to Settings (gear icon in top-right)
Step 3: Scroll down to Account Settings
Step 4: Tap "Delete Account"
Step 5: Read the deletion warning carefully
Step 6: Confirm by tapping "Delete My Account"
Step 7: Your account will be deleted immediately, and you'll be signed out
Option 2: Contact Support
If you cannot access the app or need assistance, you can request account deletion by contacting us:
Email: support@connextion.digital
Subject Line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include: Your email address or user ID associated with the account
Response Time: We will process your request within 7 business days

⚠️ Important: Account Deletion is Permanent
Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. All your data will be permanently removed from our systems (see details below).

Active Subscriptions
⚠️ Important: Subscription Management
Deleting your ConNEXTion account does NOT automatically cancel your Google Play subscription.
To Cancel Your Subscription:
- Before deleting your account, cancel your subscription through Google Play
- Open Google Play Store app
- Tap your Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find ConNEXTion Plus or Organizer Pro
- Tap "Cancel subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
- Then proceed to delete your ConNEXTion account
Note: You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Impact on Other Users
If You're in a League:
- ✅ You will be immediately removed from all leagues
- ✅ Your historical scores remain for league organizers (anonymized as "Former Member")
- ✅ Other members can continue competing without disruption
- ✅ Party streaks you contributed to will continue for remaining members
If You Created a League:
- ⚠️ If you're the only organizer, the league will be archived
- ✅ Members can still view historical data but cannot submit new scores
- 💡 Recommendation: Transfer ownership to another member before deleting your account
Timeline & Confirmation
⏱️ Deletion Timeline:
- In-App Deletion: Immediate (instant)
- Email Request: Within 7 business days
- Data Backup Purge: Within 30 days
- Full System Purge: Complete within 90 days
You Will Receive:
- 📧 Email confirmation when deletion is initiated
- 📧 Final confirmation when all data is permanently removed (within 7 days)
- 📋 Deletion report summarizing what data was removed (optional, upon request)
Before You Delete
⚠️ Consider These Alternatives:
- Pause Your Streak: Take a break without losing progress
- Leave Leagues: Exit competitive leagues but keep your account
- Sign Out: Stop using the app temporarily without deletion
- Export Your Data: Download your usage history before deleting (Settings → Export Data)
